ISIS and Gang Violence

Overview:

Grace Farley is focused on engaging global private and public partners with dynamic issues at the intersection of global affairs and innovation. Professionally, this has led her to serve as a member of a global security team that includes the Directors of President Obama’s National Security Council and former leadership at the Pentagon and Department of Defense. Within the position, Farley led the communication strategies for confidential programs on artificial intelligence, nuclear prevention, and cybersecurity. To increase NextGen engagement, she produced and hosted a podcast series focused on emerging threats at the nexus of technology and global security.

Based in California, Farley had the opportunity to leverage the podcast to approach topics focused on the private sector, the series utilized a multi-perspective lens on issues related to deep fakes, bioweapons, and digital terrorism.  Guests included a former VP at Google, the UK’s Minister of Defense, and an individual tasked with eradicating Ebola in West Africa.

From previous experiences and former work with the United Nations, Farley has been able to secure exclusive interviews on emerging issues related to digital terrorism, pandemics, human rights, and climate change.
